“Wild Thing” Songwriter Pens Album About Hometown of Yonkers

You may not know the name Chip Taylor, but you probably know the old radio hit “Wild Thing,” for which he wrote the lyrics. The song was made famous The Troggs back in 1966.

Taylor’s new album, Yonkers, NY, likely won’t be as huge a hit, but it’s landed a respectable spot as No. 6 on the Americana record chart.
