When the Internet on my new MacBook wouldn’t work through the wireless connection at my house, the helpful people at Apple suggested I try and connect from an outside source. I happily obliged, thinking I could simply head to the nearest Starbucks for a free wireless connection. Wrong. While Starbucks does offer WiFi, you have to call T-Mobile (or other local provider) to set up an account first. No thanks. After heading to a few other spots and coming up empty-handed, I decided a little research was necessary. Below, where to find free WiFi in and around the county.
