Two-term assemblyman Gregory R. Ball—who resides in Patterson and whose territory includes areas of Westchester, Dutchess, and Putnam—is taking a hard line stance toward illegal immigration, with campaign catch phrases such as “Illegal Immigration Is Illegal.”
Ball, who hopes for a State Senate run in 2010, has openly opposed the opening of an immigrants’ hiring hall in Brewster and supports the town’s interest in supporting a federal program that trains officers to identify, detain, and deport “criminal aliens.”
Do you agree or disagree with his stance?
