Westchester Correction Officer Hits Ambulance; Charged With DWI

If it wasn’t bad enough that 48-year-old Patricia Yancy-Johnson, a correction officer for over 20 years, was allegedly driving drunk over the weekend – she wound up slamming her vehicle into an ambulance, of all things.

Yancy-Johnson, a Yonkers resident, refused a Breathalyzer test after hitting the ambulance, which was responding to a call for medical assistance.
