County colleges offer “post-graduate” fitness opportunities.

Fed up with your gym? Go to college! Here are a few local colleges and universities that offer fitness programs to the general public. A college education has never been so good for you.

Iona College New Rochelle
Iona has a summer camp at its gym for $600 per year ($800 for families).

College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle
The College’s wellness center offers swim classes, pilates, yoga, and cardio-fusion classes for $85 per one-hour session.

Pace University, Pleasantville
Pay $880 per year to use Pace’s state-of-the-art fitness center.

Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville
The gym offers cardio fusion kickboxing ($480 through the summer), pilates ($145 for classes in the month of June), and squash ($360) classes during the spring and fall.

SUNY Purchase, Purchase
The fitness center offers swimming, racquetball, and weight training for the summer for $175 per person, $250 for families. Summer registration begins June 7th.

Westchester Community College, Valhalla
More than 17 wellness classes are offered this summer; there’s even hula hoop ($80 for six Friday classes).
