The Ritz-Carlton Spa in White Plains Offers Indulgence Sans Fluff

Share

Why Go? This is pampering at its finest. Think plush robes; a relaxation area designed for lounging pre- or post-treatment (with free WiFi); offerings of tea or lemon- or cucumber-infused water (the selection changes all the time); cool towels; and handfuls of healthy snacks (apples, nuts, granola). You just may want to hide here all day. And you can. You can enjoy a turkey club, freshly pressed carrot or orange juice, and lemonade cake at the pool; take a swim; make some phone calls; or do work on your laptop—all between an Arnica muscle and joint bath soak (which promotes circulation), a men’s haircut at the  spa’s salon, or a eucalyptus steam room. This spa makes your every wish its command. And, no, you do not have to be a hotel guest to enjoy. Parking is validated.

Plan Your Day: 8 am: Personalized Training Session at gym (60 minutes, $95); 9:15 am: Sports Massage (60 minutes, $160); 10:15 am: Gentleman’s Facial (60 minutes, $145); 11:15 am: Arnica Joint and Muscle Rescue (20 minutes, $60); noon: catch up on emails in the relaxation room before heading to the pool for a delivered-to-your-chaise-lounge lunch. Enjoy the dry sauna or Eucalyptus steam room before heading out to the “real world.”
