And when mom and dad need some adult-only time, activities such as massage, local beer and cheese tasting, yoga, and gallery visits are available. Get the best of both worlds with this “weekday sleep-away camp,” where kids spend Monday to Friday at camp and come home on the weekends. Both first-time sleep-away campers and families with big weekend plans will love this flexible format. Kids choose their own activities each day from a wide range of specialties including sports, fine arts, performing arts, aquatics, and nature. Camp takes place in two separate locations: the rural campus of Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ, which offers comfortable dorms, an indoor heated swimming pool, and extensive sports and arts facilities; and a lakeside campground in Port Jervis, New York, which boasts adventure courses, boating, and mountain biking as well as sports and arts.
