Self-Proclaimed Author of 9/11 Attacks to Fly into Westchester County Airport Before Being Transported to Court

It was announced on Friday that Khalid Sheik Mohammad—self-proclaimed author behind the September 11 attacks—and four other accused plotters will be tried in civilian court.

According to the Washington Post, Mohammed will not see the devastating aftermath of the attacks at Ground Zero, as he will be flown in the nighttime hours to a military terminal at Westchester County Airport, and then transported by helicopter to Lower Manhattan.

His final destination, the courtroom, will stand just blocks away from where the Twin Towers once stood.
