And you thought you moved up from the city where it’s sleepy and safe? Tell that to the residents of Briarcliff Manor and Cortlandt, where a pair of bank robberies have left the communities reeling. The first robbery occurred at Cortlandt’s Key Bank, the second at Briarcliff’s Chase Bank on Pleasantville Road, where an undisclosed sum was taken. Local police are now working with the FBI on the two cases to determine if they’re related, so it’s too soon to know if Westchester has its own John Dillinger on its hands.
