An investigator hired by Diane Schuler’s husband says Schuler’s autopsy shows no signs of long-term alcohol use, calling into question her alleged Sunday morning booze binge before her fatal car wreck on the Taconic Parkway July 24, killing herself and seven others. As investigators continue to piece together the timeline of that fateful day while the medical examiner’s office digs in its heels and stands by its findings that the mother of two had more than ten drinks in her system when she died, one can’t help but wonder if we’ll ever get to the bottom of just who got to the bottom of that vodka bottle found in the wreckage.
