Connected, Capable, Creative
Twelve years ago, when then-19-year-old Caroline Gould Lewittes was interning at Thompson & Bender, you might not have guessed the integral role she would come to play in the success of so many Westchester businesses. But today, she is one of just two vice presidents at what is arguably the county’s leading public relations, advertising, and marketing agency.
According to Chairman Geoff Thompson, “Caroline is plugged into the world of Westchester. Although young, she has built a deep base of knowledge about the community in general, as well as the business and nonprofit communities and the regional media. She has especially deep contacts within the hospitality and restaurant sectors. To know Caroline is to have a hardworking guide to the inner workings of one of the nation’s uniquely complex markets.”
One of the biggest thrills of her career so far was the public relations campaign to launch The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. “Helping to introduce a global, corporate brand like The Ritz-Carlton to this market was incredibly rewarding,” she says. “I’m pleased to say that I’ve worked with the hotel since before its doors were open.”
The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, is pretty impressed, too. General Manager Jeff Dziak says, “Caroline’s greatest asset, aside from probably knowing everyone in Westchester, is that she is a great partner and passionate advocate of our brand, someone who understands our hotel and the culture of The Ritz-Carlton.”
