More than 140 restaurants, more than half from Westchester, are participating in the fifth annual Hudson Valley Restaurant Week this month from the 14th to the 27th. During the event (which, we note, is actually longer than a week), restaurants offer three-course, prix-fixe dinners for $28 and some also offer three-course lunches for $20. Among this year’s county participants: 80 West, Birdsall House, Day Boat Cafe, The Division Street Grill, Fig & Olive, Haven Restaurant and Bar, La Bocca Ristorante, Mima Vinoteca, Orissa, Restaurant North, Scaramella’s, The Tap House, Turkish Meze, and Zuppa Restaurant & Lounge. Restaurant Week 2010 attracted more than 200,000 patrons with many restaurant owners reporting a 30- to 50-percent increase in business.
