Report: Link Found Between Indian Point and Thyroid Cancer

A startling new report claims a link between the controversial Indian Point nuclear power plant in Buchanan, and the incidence of thyroid cancer in the four counties surrounding the plant. Westchester, Rockland, Orange, and Putnam counties have had the highest rates of thyroid cancer in the state, and among the highest in the nation—since the plant became operational.
