The very popular White Plains International Open-Air Market opened for the season in May and is now open every Wednesday until November 25, 2009, rain or shine.
The market is located in Downtown White Plains adjacent to City Hall at 255 Main St. This year’s Grand Opening event was held on May 13 and featured the Bravo Network’s “Top Chef” contestants who entertained and cooked some of their finest dishes.
The White Plains Farmer’s Market is operated by an international operator of fresh-food marketplaces, Bensidoun USA. The success of the market is due to the quality products sold by its merchants, city officials noted. Vendors sell everything from fresh baked goods to locally grown produce at this canopied European style market
