Go ahead and shoot that Cupid’s arrow this Valentine’s Day. It’s easy to hit your mark with our guide to the most romantic Valentine’s Day dining options.

Angelina’s (97 Lake Ave, Tuckahoe 914-779-7319) Ask for a cozy table in front of the lit fireplace at this Southern Italian restaurant where balladeers will croon romantic songs from 7 pm to 11 pm on the 12th (Ron Fowler) and 13th (Joann Robertozzi).

Bistro Twenty-Two (391 Old Post Rd, Bedford 914-234-7333) Prosciutto- and goat-cheese ravioli, grilled marinated quail, honey-glazed half-duck, and baked banana in phyllo with a caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream will be offered on Bistro Twenty-Two’s three-course menu ($60/person). Seatings at 6 pm and 8 pm. Reservations required.

Chutney Masala (4 Main St, Irvington 914-591-5500) Bored with traditional Valentine’s Day fare? Check out Chef Navjot Arora’s Indian bistro for heart-shaped masala crab cakes, spinach kebabs, and shahiatukra (a dessert made from crispy bread soaked in rose-flavored syrup and topped with creamy cardamom milk). As part of the à la carte dinner, women will receive a traditional Indian jewelry box. Regular menu also is available. Open 12 pm to 10 pm. Reservations required.

The Cookery (29 Chestnut St, Dobbs Ferry 914-305-2336) In addition to its regular à la carte menu, The Cookery will feature a four-course chocolate-themed menu ($50/person without wine; $65/person with wine). Begin with the “introduction” (appetizer) and proceed to “dinner & a movie” (pasta), “a kiss” (entrée), and “behind closed doors” (dessert). Spiced pork belly with chocolate polenta and chard; chocolate tortellini with sheep’s-milk ricotta, dried orange, and grated amoretti; and buttery vanilla poached monkfish with millet, blood orange, and wilted arugula are among the specials to try.

If you can’t make it on Valentine’s Day, The Cookery’s first wine tasting of the season on February 8th, “Valentine’s 4play,” will feature many of the same dishes. Seatings at 1 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:30 pm, and 7:30 pm. Reservations required.

Espana Wine & Tapas Bar (147 Larchmont Ave, Larchmont 914-833-1331) Don’t miss this authentic Spanish restaurant’s à la carte tapas menu, including house-made lobster ravioli with white truffle oil and zucchini compote ($16), slow-roasted venison loin with chestnut purée and sautéed porcinis ($16), and triple Napoleon mousse layered with chocolate and strawberry mousse and vanilla chantilly ($9). F.A.B. (222 E Main St, Mount Kisco 914-864-1661) Grilled octopus salad, braised lamb shank in a creamy goat-cheese polenta with roasted Brussels sprouts and fig gastric, and moscato-poached pear crêpe are among this French-American bistro’s three-course offerings ($65/person). Don’t leave without trying the surprise Valentine’s treat. Open 11 am to 10 pm. Reservations required.

42 (Ritz Carlton, Westchester, One Renaissance Sq, White Plains 914-761-4242) Located atop the Ritz Carlton’s South Tower, 42 will offer a five-course menu ($225/couple with one bottle of Champagne). Bluefin tuna crudo; duck in a huckleberry-Red Zinfandel sauce with cauliflower purée and polenta cake; and a molten chocolate cake with fresh raspberries, chantilly, and caramel are among the dishes to try. If you can’t make the dinner, don’t miss the Valentine’s brunch. Open 3 pm to 10 pm. Reservations required.

Haven (472 Bedford Rd, Pleasantville 914-747-4646) A special Valentine’s menu will be available from February 12 through February 14 at this New American restaurant. Order à la carte (entrées from $24 to $34) or as a $50 prix fixe. Among the main selections: butter-poached Maine lobster; pan-seared Atlantic salmon with roasted-beet gnocchi; and wild mushroom, tofu, and rutabaga lasagna. Among the desserts: Oreo-crusted peanut-butter mousse pie, passionfruit crème brûlée, and fig-and-butternut-squash rice pudding.

Il Sorriso (5 N Buckhout St, Irvington 914-591-2525) Specials on this traditional Italian restaurant’s à la carte menu include bluepoint oysters with onions, roasted red pepper, and pancetta in a butter sauce; homemade heart-shaped ravioli stuffed with pear, nuts, and Gorgonzola; and grilled wild boar chops served over sautéed portobello mushrooms. Open 12 pm to 10 pm. Reservations recommended.

Iron Horse Grill (20 Wheeler Ave, Pleasantville 914-741-0717) On the three-course menu ($55/person) at this contemporary American restaurant: shrimp ménage-à-trois, heart-shaped ravioli, plump breasts of duck, and herb-rubbed loin of lamb. Make sure you grab the chocolate kisses and forget-me-not candies on the way out. Open 5 pm to 11 pm. Reservations recommended.

La Crémaillère (46 Bedford-Banksville Rd, Bedford 914-234-9647) This French restaurant nestled in an 18th-century farmhouse won’t be offering a special Valentine’s Day menu, but the romantic vibe will be amped upped with pink tables with chocolate-dipped strawberries and floral arrangements. Don’t forget to split the soufflé with your date. Seatings at 1 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm. Reservations required.

La Panetière (530 Milton Rd, Rye 914-967-8140) Chef Jean-Marc Cabirol will serve up traditional French fare in a six-course dinner ($78/person) featuring sea scallops rosace with layers of spinach-and-mushroom purée in a Champagne sauce; a rack of lamb with polenta galette, portobello mushrooms, and a persillade of caramelized shallots in a mint sauce; and a dessert sampler with chocolate Napoleons, gratin of raspberries, and passionfruit sherbet. Add a wine pairing for an additional $55. Open 12 pm to 8 pm. Reservations required.

Le Château (Rtes 35 and 123, South Salem 914-533-6631) Why celebrate Valentine’s Day just one night when you can make it a weekend-long extravaganza? Le Château kicks off the festivities with dinner and dancing to the Bock & Blu Band (headed by Steely Dan’s assistant manager Gary Blu) Friday, February 12. Then return to J.P. Morgan’s English Tudor on Saturday the 13th for a special brunch ($38/person) from noon to 2 pm and a two-seating dinner ($75/person) at 6 pm and 8:30 pm. Finally, on Valentine’s Day, the restaurant will host another brunch and dinner with seatings at 4 pm, 6 pm, and 8:30 pm. The weekend’s specials will include a mesclun salad with poached and smoked salmon rillettes, East Coast oysters, and sautéed veal chop in a Pommery mustard sauce. Reservations required.

Le Provençal Bistro (436 Mamaroneck Ave, Mamaroneck 914-777-2324) Mussel soup; sautéed foie gras with apple and brandy Port wine sauce; lobster salad; and poached pear with pistachio gelato, almonds, and chocolate sauce on this French bistro’s four-course menu ($75/person; $199/couple with a bottle of Champagne or wine). If four full courses sounds like a little too much, order from the same menu à la carte.

Marc Charles Steakhouse (95 Business Park Dr, Armonk 914-273-2700) Make a reservation now for Marc Charles’s four-course “Sweetheart Menu” ($170/couple) featuring a lovers’ Champagne toast, tapas for two, house salad, choice of entrée (filet mignon, shrimp scampi, mixed grill, or porterhouse pork chop), and a “Happy Ending” chocolate fondue for two. Mauro’s Restaurant (199 Main St, Ossining 914-941-2662) Mauro’s à la carte “Sweetheart Menu” (entrées $19 and up) will feature Châteaubriand for two, twin lobster tails, veal osso bucco, and pan-seared Chilean sea bass. Open 12 pm to 11 pm with live music. Reservation required.

Morton’s The Steakhouse (9 Maple Ave, White Plains 914-683-6101) Specials from Morton’s three-course menu ($99.99/couple) include filet mignon, prime New York strip steak, broiled sea scallops, and colossal shrimp Alexander. Don’t miss its legendary hot chocolate cake or new Valentine’s crush cocktail. Open 4 pm to 11 pm. Reservations required.

Opus 465 (465 Main St, Armonk 914-273-4676) Offering its annual four-course “aphrodisiac menu” ($55/person), Opus 465 will feature a choice of Cupid or amore salad, crab corn chowder, roasted-pepper ravioli, shrimp and broccoli rabe risotto, and a chocolate lava cake. A special menu will be available Friday through Sunday. Open 4 pm to 9 pm. Reservations recommended.

Plates (121 Myrtle Blvd, Larchmont 914-834-1244) Plates will feature a three-course seating ($75/person) at 5:30 pm and then a four-course seating ($85/person) at 7:30 pm. Dishes to try: pappardelle with dandelion greens and Parmesan cream in a sage pesto; and molten chocolate soufflé with homemade ice cream. Open 5 pm to 11 pm. Reservations required.

Red Hat on the River (1 Bridge St, Irvington 914-591-5888) The Parisian-feel Red Hat will be serving regular fare from 12 pm to 3:30 pm and then a special three-course menu ($70/person) from 4 pm to 10 pm. Try the Coach Farm’s goat-cheese beignet; fettuccine and lobster with roasted asparagus and Parmigiano-Reggiano; and the dessert tasting of chocolate ganache cake, Champagne sabayon, and coconut-brioche bread pudding with cookies. Sonora (179 Rectory Rd, Port Chester 914-933-0200) Sonora’s Nuevo Latino-inspired three-course offering ($45/person) includes lobster and huitlacoche mushrooms with cilantro and garlic aioli; grilled lamb chops with yucca and shoestring potatoes in an Argentinean chimichurri sauce; and housemade mango, coconut, and raspberry-Cabernet sorbets. Vox (721 Titicus Rd, North Salem 914-669-5450) As soon as guests walk in, they will be treated to a variety of canapés followed by a romantic four-course menu ($65/person). Don’t miss the chilled East Coast oysters, lobster bisque, roasted duck à l’orange, tournedos of beef in a truffle sauce, and coffee with chocolate truffles. Open 1 pm to 8 pm. X2O Xaviars on the Hudson (71 Water Grant St, Yonkers 914-965-1111) Acclaimed Chef Peter Kelly will serve a three-course tasting ($75/person) along with amuse bouche. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Hudson River while trying specials like lobster crêpe with a star-anise glaze; porcini-crusted saddle of lamb with creamy spaetzle and asparagus; and passionfruit pavlova with sorbet. Zanaro’s (1 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains 914-397-9400) Zanaro’s new chef David Regueiro will channel the Italian countryside in a three-course menu ($50/person) featuring shrimp and lobster ravioli, marinated beet salad, roasted filet mignon and lobster, and veal scallopine, along with the restaurant’s regular menu. Prospero Winery (134 Marble Ave, Pleasantville 914-769-6870; prosperowinery.com) Give your sweet tooth a Valentine! This local winery is holding a chocolate-and-wine pairing from 11 am to 6 pm on Valentine’s Day. Try a flight of four wines for free; five to eight wines for $5; and nine to 15 wines for $10.
