Word has gotten out. For our second annual Westchester Home Design Contest, we were delighted to receive 127 submissions from 40 area designers and architects, a definite uptick from our inaugural year. Once again, we asked faculty and staff members from the prestigious New York School of Interior Design in Manhattan to help us judge the entries. We had some tough decisions to make from all the really impressive work we received, but the best always have a way of standing out. Summing up the sentiments from our panel, John Buscarello, interior designer, NYSID instructor, and one of our judges, says, “Overall, the winners exhibited a wonderful sense of materials. I liked how a strong sense of modernism exerted its influence in these traditional spaces.” We think you will, too.
