FAVORITE MOVIE: Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, of course, and Barry Lyndon, because all the interior shots are so beautiful, as candles are the sole lighting source.

MOST UNUSUAL REQUEST: A Murphy bed.

 

FAVORITE STORE: Belkind Bigi in Tarrytown for perfect mid-century furniture and accessories. I love the friendly atmosphere. 

 

WORST DESIGN MISTAKE: Possibly, overkill.

 

HOT TRENDS FOR 2013: Metallics.

 

UNLIKELY HOME ACCESSORY:  We have a giant projection TV in our library. We love it.

 

FAVORITE LINENS: Antique, preferably French. I love the incredible weight of the hand-woven linen, and the hand-embroidery is so lush.
