R5 SoulCycle: Rye Ridge Shopping Center’s New Studio

Ask and ye shall receive. According to Erin Hinchey, leasing rep for the Rye Ridge Shopping Center, “Our shoppers and tenants have repeatedly asked us to add a SoulCycle studio.” And so they did: The new studio opened on the plaza level (19 Rye Ridge Plz, Rye Brook 914-713-1201; soul-cycle.com) in August. This will be SoulCycle’s 16th location on the East Coast. What’s the draw? Beyond providing an intense cardio workout, SoulCycle works in a little inspirational coaching. And riding by candlelight has to be an uplifting experience. “SoulCycle creates a cardio sanctuary where riders come to clear their heads,” Hinchey says.
