R5 Photo Gallery: Greyston Foundation's Annual Benefit at X2O Xaviers and Other Local Westchester Events

Carl E. Petrillo, president and CEO of Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc., was honored at the Greyston Foundation’s annual benefit held at X2O Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers. Founded in 1946, Yonkers Contracting has a résumé of projects that includes work on the Brooklyn Bridge, Cross River Reservoir, I-287/I-87, Penn Station, and Grand Central Terminal. Christopher Davis, a Yonkers resident and participant in Greyston’s programs, received the Bernie Glassman Award, recognizing his personal growth and movement toward self-sufficiency. Yonkers Mayor and Honorary Chair Mike Spano and Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino were among the 250 guests in attendance. The $300,000 raised supports Greyston Foundation’s community development efforts. The Foundation provides, among other services, employment and training to the formerly homeless and the previously incarcerated and affordable housing to the disadvantaged.
