R5 Pet Rescue’s 30th Anniversary Gala

Pet Rescue’s 30th Anniversary Gala drew more than 500 guests to the V.I.P. Country Club in New Rochelle. Founder Sue Kamell, John and Denise Mara, volunteers and co-owners of the New York Giants, and long-time supporters Margaret Reilly-Antalec and Joe Antalec were honored. Broadcaster Lou Young was MC, and led an auction of specialty items such as a guitar signed by Paul McCartney and a weeklong Mexican Riviera vacation. Adopter Drew Kerr showed his video production that tracked Pet Rescue’s roots back to the home of founder Sue Kamell in 1982. John and Denise Mara of Harrison brought the Super Bowl trophy and, for a donation, attendees were able to get their photo taken with it.
