The Pace Women’s Justice Center (PWJC) honored Linda Markowitz and 17 distinguished volunteers at the “Making a Difference Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction,” which was attended by 300 people. The honorees each donated more than 100 hours of service to the Center. Monies raised via an auction helped PWJC provide free legal services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and elder abuse.
Among the items auctioned were two VIP tickets to The Colbert Report, four tickets to Caramoor’s 2013 International Music Festival, and an annual membership for two to the Jacob Burns Film Center.
