The first residents are now moving into Monarch at Ridge Hill, a 1.3-million-square-foot hilltop complex located just across the way from Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers. Still under construction, the complex, developed by The Horizon Group, is being completed in four phases, with condominium units available ranging from the mid-$300k to $700k for a one-bedroom to between $500k and $1 million for a two-bedroom.
Says early buyer Amy Harris, “The Monarch has every possible amenity for comfort, with the exception of a beach.” Amenities like: indoor and outdoor pools; a two-story, 25,000-square-foot fitness center with walking track; party room; cinema screening room; tennis courts; indoor basketball court; yoga studio; spa with sauna; golf simulator; business center with Wi-Fi; children’s playroom and outdoor playground; 24-hour doorman; and concierge services.
Another early buyer, Margaret Kerner, was attracted to an easier lifestyle.
Designed by Andres Escobar & Associates, each residential unit has bamboo flooring and doors, CaesarStone kitchen countertops, under-mount sinks, Kohler fixtures, thermofoil cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, French-door refrigerators, marble tiled bathroom floors, washer and dryer, walk-in closets, and is pre-wired for both FiOS and cable, giving residents a choice. Early buyers also have the opportunity to customize their spaces.
Within walking distance is a 12-screen multiplex movie theater, 15 restaurants, a Whole Foods Market, a slew of retail stores (L.L. Bean, Lord & Taylor, Tumi, Orvis, REI), and a Westmed Medical Group location for one-stop medical care. For more information, visit monarchrh.com or call (914) 375-3710.
