Spends Most of His Time: Glued to the telephone
On His Experience So Far: “The best experience I’ve had is seeing something I wrote on the website. Besides a school paper, it’s the first time I’ve had something published.”

Age: 20
Major: Journalism
Spends Most of His Time: Driving around
On His Experience So Far: I’ve been assistant editor at my school paper, so seeing real-world application here makes it easier for me there. Otherwise, I’m still waiting for that gas money! I drive around to different stores for items we’re shooting; I’ve driven 100 miles in this county alone in the past week!

Briggette Sayegh
Age: 21
Major: Journalism
Spends Most of Her Time Here: Practicing my phone introduction, “Briggette for Westchester Magazine, how may I help you?” I think I’ve mastered it.
On Her Experience So Far: Worst part of the job is having to smell the intense aromas of my co-workers lunches being heated, then going upstairs for my split pea soup. Best part of the day is finally successfully completing a task I had dreaded beginning in the first place. Editor-in-chief, here I come.

Spends Most of His Time Here: Waiting. Waiting to be told what to do, or for people to finally get back to me.
On His Experience So Far: I really like the meetings and seeing how it all starts, people pitching and interacting, and how ideas come together.
