Last year, we sat down with filmmaker Joe Berlinger for a one-on-one chat about his documentary, Crude, which covers the ongoing legal case which alleges that Texaco (now Chevron) poisoned the Ecuadorian rainforest. Now Berlinger, a Northern Westchester resident and Chappaqua native, has been given the International Green Film Award at the Cinema for Peace in Berlin. Other contenders for the award included Robert Redford, James Cameron, and Roland Emmerich.
