Schlanksy, who runs the business out of her Chappaqua home with her husband and brother, has been a devotee of Asian art since childhood, when she’d accompany her father on trips to China for his leather business. Today, Schlansky makes regular sojourns to personally scout and source pieces for her varied collection, which spans the Han, Tang, and Ming dynasties.
