Eyebrows thin as we age. And for those who don’t want to pencil in brows, there’s “permanent” makeup—a process similar to tattooing, in which color is injected into the skin (which has been thankfully numbed). The process also can be used for lining lips and eyes.
It is done at Oggi/Adam & Eve Salon (770 Central Ave, Scarsdale, 914-472-0010). The process is in two steps, four weeks apart ($300 for two treatments). Do know, however, that the term “permanent” is a bit misleading; annual touchups ($150) probably will be necessary, depending on skin type and the amount of sun exposure you receive.
