More than 20 notable Westchester restaurants and farms participated in Mount Kisco Child Care Center’s (MKCCC) eighth annual Feed Me Fresh: An Edible Evening fundraiser. Held under a circus tent at Ivanna Farms in Bedford Corners, the event honored local community advocates Frances and Isidoro Albanese and Curtis Beusman. MKCCC provides scholarship assistance as well as educational programs that promote a healthy lifestyle among students and their families.
Bellizzi, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, Crabtree’s Kittle House, Purdy’s Farmer and the Fish, Mount Kisco Seafood, MTK Tavern, Myong Gourmet, and Quaker Hill Tavern were among the businesses participating.
“Feed Me Fresh highlights the importance of bringing healthy choices to the lives of our growing children,” said MKCCC Executive Director Dottie Jordan.
Katonah resident and actor John Bedford Lloyd (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Nixon, The Abyss) served as the evening’s master of ceremonies.
