Owner Maria Churchill, an East Village transplant and Pratt Institute grad, has a great eye for assembling whimsical gifts—we were tempted to throw a dinner party just to hint heavily for the paint box collection of candles—and special home accents like eco-friendly felted wool animal heads, French linens, and puffy empty wall frames in punchy hues. Churchill sources from across the globe—the sheepskin pillows by Auskin ($65 to $115) hail from New Zealand—to right in her business backyard, with graphic-looking throws from recycled cotton by In2Green in Hastings.
