Take these eco-friendly yet casually elegant throws from Hastings-on-Hudson-based in2green. Practicing what founder/designer Lori Slater calls “up-cycling,” the collection is made from sustainable yarn and, frequently, a blend of yarn that’s spun from salvaged textile scraps and clippings. The throws are priced between $50 and $145; a portion of all sales is donated to environmental non-profits. Offered at Beehive Co-Op in Mount Kisco or at in2green.com. Pillows, baby apparel, and custom designs are also available.
