Bra Trade-In

If you’re in the market for a new bra and would like to get rid of some old bras, stop by Dorothy Stein in Scarsdale (707 White Plains Rd; 914-723-6111) for their 5th annual Trade-In sale. For every gently used, nearly new or new bra you bring in, you’ll get $10 off the cost of a new bra in-store. There’s no limit to how many you can trade in, and your donations will go to benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Strength, a breast cancer support group based in Chicago, which gives bras to those in need.
 


Charity Fashion Show at Club Fit

March boutique in Briarcliff Manor (1250 Pleasantville Rd, 914-923-2100) will be showcasing its fall clothing at a fashion show hosted by Club Fit. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds benefit the Phelps Memorial Hospital Center’s new emergency room, with the show taking place from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, September 24. If you can’t make it to the show but still want to help, March will be running a campaign from September 17 – October 1, where 10 percent of your purchase will go to benefit the hospital.
 

Jamie Wolf Trunk Show

Citrine in Bronxville (22 Park Place, 914-337-2062) has just added a new designer to the boutique’s already growing list of great jewelry makers. Jamie Wolf, who creates pieces in 18kt yellow, white and rose gold will be having a trunk show at the shop on September 19 and 20 to celebrate her new line.

Shop for Charity

If you have major shopping to do for fall, you might want to wait for September 23, when On the One in Mount Kisco (153 Main St, 914-666-7787) will be donating a part of all purchases made to benefit The National Mafran Foundation, a foundation that aids in the fight again Marfan Syndrome, a disease that effects the connective tissue and causes major problems throughout the body including the nervous and cardiovascular systems. The event lasts 12 hours (from 10am-10pm) with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and even a palm reader on hand from 6:30-10pm.


Rebecca Taylor and Miguel Ases Trunk Show

This weekend, check out the latest fall fashions from Rebecca Taylor and Migule Ases at a trunk show hosted by Toni Toney and the Gang.
