When Vanessa Vetrano of Ossining started planning her October 11th wedding to Everett Vaccaro, she had definite ideas of what she didn’t want: no veil, no poufy dress, no cake, no flowers. No flowers? Quite a challenge for venerated florist Diana Gould of Elmsford, but Gould’s lead designer, Regina Lavecchia, rose to the occasion. The ceremony area was adorned with gilded tulle and a bounty of twinkle lights with accenting sprays of crystals and sparkles. The bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets were sprays of shimmering Swarovski crystals, and the $200 to $225 table centerpieces (shown here) were made of dramatic gold-painted Manzanita branches imported from South Africa, embellished with showers of cascading crystals all around. Scattered crystals, jewels, and candles completed each table.
