Today’s bathrooms are not just for bathing, brushing, and beautifying—how prosaic!—but for enjoyment, entertainment, and enhancement. In the privacy of that most private of spaces, you can lock the door and…
a listen to Mozart (or Bach or, if you prefer, U2) on surround sound speakers;
a lounge on an overstuffed chair;
a warm up in front of a fireplace;
a watch Oprah on a plasma TV;
a munch on the goodies stocked in a Sub-Zero fridge;
a get tanned in the shower;
a enjoy a steaming cup of espresso from the Illy coffeemaker.
You can also wrap yourself in a warmed Frette towel after a relaxing (or risque—your choice) session in the steam shower built for two.
