Mount Kisco artist Alan Reingold’s illustrations have been featured in Time, Newsweek, and Fortune, but his most famous work of art by far shows up in front of movies: the TriStar logo, a galloping Pegasus stretching its wings out across a cloudy sky. So, when it came time for Reingold to curate an exhibition at ArtsWestchester’s Arts Exchange, it made sense to make it about horses—a subject that artists have been capturing since the days of cave paintings. A Horse, of Course takes a contemporary look at the equine form through sculpture, painting, photography, and drawing, all from artists who have had personal experiences with horses. The exhibition will be on view from September 13 to October 12.
