Dear Westchester Magazine Reader,
We at Westchester Magazine are committed to helping the many organizations in our county that support important programs and serve worthy causes. I am happy and proud to present Westchester Magazine’s Fourth Annual Social Datebook, a guide to the various charity events in and around our county. The 2006 Social Datebook lists nearly 200 Westchester events for the year—from January through December.
Over the past year, many of you let us know that you appreciated and used the guide throughout the year. And many organizations and charities let us know that, thanks to our guide, ticket sales for their events increased.
We have tried to include as many charitable events as possible, but we know we’ve missed a few. Some organizations were finalizing plans for their fundraising events as we went to press, some had hardly begun. But not to worry: We will post new entries as we learn about them on our website, westchestermagazine.com. We will also update information as it becomes available on our site, so do visit it throughout the year.
We hope you find the 2006 Social Datebook a handy guide to Westchester’s galas and fundraisers and to other significant cultural and social happenings in our county. Let us know, please.
