A $100-per ticket Champagne Preview Party kicked off the 2012 Art Show: Bedford, a weekend long exhibit of original paintings, sculptures, and photographs by more than 50 local artists.The Women of St. Matthew’s Church organized the event.
The show’s curators are Susan Grissom, gallery director of the Lionheart Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Pound Ridge, and Leslie Henshaw.
Local charities supported by proceeds from the show include Abbot House, The Bedford Hills Correctional Children’s Center, The Bridge Fund, The Caring Circle of Hospice Care, The Chaplaincy Committee of NWH, Community Center of Katonah, Fessenden House, Hospice Care in Westchester and Putnam, Iglesia Memorial de Son Andres, Midnight Run, Mount Kisco Childcare Center, and Hope’s Door.
