Photo Gallery: Hope's Door's Annual Luncheon and Silent Auction at Crabtree's Kittle House, and Other Local Westchester Events

The annual luncheon and silent auction for Hope’s Door drew approximately 220 guests—nearly twice as many as last year—to Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua. More than $30,000 was raised for the Pleasantville-based nonprofit organization, which gives shelter and support to victims of domestic abuse. The organization served 52 percent more people this year than it had last year and it opened a second office in Ossining. In addition to a buffet lunch, there was a performance by actress Lisa Regina, who shared her own traumatic assault experience. Among the items auctioned off: Melissa Etheridge concert tickets, US 2013 Tennis Open tickets, and an overnight stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. Caroline Corley of 107.1 The Peak was the emcee to the $125-per-ticket event.
