Why Go: Forget the “medi-spa” aspect. Sure, there’s Botox and laser skin resurfacing, but you’ve come for the coddling and catering—and you’ll get it. This relatively new spa (it opened in September) aims to please with oversized bathrooms for changing, a comfortable lounge area, and a host of services designed to spoil you.
What to Book: Three words: the Shirodhara Massage ($75 for 40 minutes), an Ayurvedic healing therapy that’s “all about clearing your head.” The treatment starts with a warm stream of oil, which is slowly dripped onto your forehead. Along with an in-depth head massage, you’re also treated to a hand and foot massage (another therapist comes in to work on your feet). Also highly recommended: the Desert Heat Body Wrap ($125 for an hour), where a mineral mud rich in copper, magnesium, and zinc is painted onto every inch of your body. You’re then wrapped tight in thermal foil, allowing the mud’s healing nutrients to seep in, encouraging fatigue and stress to vanish from your body. Think traveling to Arizona without the hassles (it’s Arizona mud, after all).
