If, at our Best of Westchester party, I didn’t get a chance to thank you for coming, let me take this opportunity to do so. Indeed, thank you to the 3,000(!) of you who trekked from all parts of Westchester and beyond to attend our 10th annual extravaganza, a celebration that, each year, gets even more spectacular, even more fun, even more delicious, even more inventive. There was food galore, tons of music, great goodie bags, so much to sample, so much to experience. I know how much many of you enjoyed the event, thanks to your many emails and Facebook postings. A few of your posts:
â– “Awesome party. Can’t wait for next year’s gala.”
â– “The party was rocking and the food, libations, and vendors were terrific! Thanks for a great night!”
â– “Thank you, Westchester Magazine staff for making the night so special.”
â– “It was the Best BOW yet.”
We agree. Yet we know that the party, or, more accurately, the commute to the party, was far from ideal. A number of you got stuck in traffic—pretty bad traffic—as you tried to make your way to the party, held at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. You let us know that, too.
â– “The horrific traffic problem took away a lot of the fun we enjoyed in years past.”
â– “Unfortunately, thanks to the traffic, we missed a lot of the merchants.”
â– “Certainly not the Best of Parking.”
We hear you loud and clear, and I hope you’ll be pleased to know that we have begun working on the traffic issue, so that next year—oh yes, we have started planning next year’s party already—you will all agree that Westchester Magazine throws the Best Party in the county.
Let Us Hear from You
