NYT Says the Tap House in Tuckahoe Is “Worth It”

So, have you been to the Tap House yet? The New York Times recently visited the Tuckahoe gastropub, which opened in 2007, to review the refocused, “recession-friendly” menu and new chef—Kevin Bertrand, formerly of Crabtree’s Kittle House.

The Times sang praises of the Tap House’s “many success,” exceptional service, consistancy, and coziness. Especially impressive was the staff’s warmth; they are friendly when greeting their customers, and will remember small detail such as table versus booth preferences, or one’s favorite beer.
