Nita Lowey Says “No Thanks” to Khalid Shaikh Mohammed Trial in Westchester

It looks like 9/11 terrorist Khalid Shaikh Mohammed’s trial is no more welcome here in Westchester than it was in New York City, where the attacks actually occurred. Today, Rep. Nita Lowey expressed in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder her belief that “the distance between White Plains and lower Manhattan is not great enough to mitigate the threats to the region that have already been raised.”
