Tollgate Steakhouse has closed, and regional Italian restaurant Limoncello (974 E Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck 914-630-2311) has moved in. Silvio Vitiello, previously of Portofino in Pound Ridge, is the executive chef. Jumbo lobster ravioli and salmon piccata are entrées to try (pastas range from $14-$19; mains from $17-$28). Lunch and dinner are served weekdays; dinner only on weekends

More Mario in Port Chester? Yup. Set to open next spring is artisan foods market B&B Fine Foods, another Mario Batali-Joe Bastianich Port Chester venture (175-179 Main St).

Mario Fava, owner of Chat 19 and Lusardi’s in Larchmont and Moscato in Scarsdale, has opened Chat American Grill (One Christie Pl, Scarsdale 914-722-4000). The restaurant, open every day for lunch and dinner, offers burgers, salads, and panini, plus entrées such as lobster risotto and Colorado lamb chops. Main dishes cost between $17 and $25. A 60-foot landscaped patio will include heat lamps for alfresco autumn dining

Sunday and Monday are all-you-can-eat sushi nights ($24.95 pp) at the sleekly designed NEO World Bistro & Sushi Bar (69 S Moger Ave, Mount Kisco 914-244-9711). The price includes made-to-order rolls from the regular sushi menu as well as some from the special roll menu. The Asian-fusion restaurant also serves Korean bibimbap, sushi tortilla, and seafood bouillabaisse. Entrées cost between $17 and $24. NEO is open every day for lunch and dinner

Pleasantville’s Strega has closed and in its stead there’s the new Mediterranean eatery 2 Broadway (2 Broadway Pleasantville 914-747-1000), offering dishes such as brick-pressed, free-range chicken ($16), grilled Tuscan sausage ($22), and oven-baked branzino and shrimp ($24). 2 Broadway is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday for dinner only. An international 80-bottle wine list is offered

Briarcliff’s main thoroughfare is now home to Cravings Eats & Treats (549 N State Rd, 914-944-4622), a (mostly) take-away café and bakery serving sandwiches, salads (starting at $6.95), frozen yogurt ($3), and Manhattan’s famous Hale and Hearty Soups ($3.95 to $9.50)

Spend $100 on takeout at Morton’s, The Steakhouse (9 Maple Ave, White Plains 914-683-6101) and receive a complimentary slice of carrot cake, big enough for two or three people /
