That’s what the soon-to-open Legoland Discovery Center at Ridge Hill in Yonkers did to find its master model builder. Michael Tocidlowski defeated 19 other contenders for the full-time salaried position with his model of a motorcycle.
E-Z Fly Zone
Frequent fliers out of Westchester County Airport can register with a program called CLEAR to zip through security. After paying the $179 annual fee, CLEAR users can verify their identities via a fingerprint or iris scan and cut to the front of the security line. They will still need to undergo physical screening.

Annabi, Jereis Sentenced
Former Yonkers Councilwoman Sandy Annabi will report to prison March 4 to begin a six-year sentence; her partner in crime, former Yonkers GOP boss Zehry Jereis received a four-year sentence with two-years post release supervision for their part in the Ridge Hill corruption scandal.
Bradley Retrial
An Appellate Division ruling is giving former White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley
a second chance to fight spousal abuse charges, deciding the first trial did not allow testimony that would have contradicted the claims of his estranged wife, Fumiko Bradley. According to interview notes from a caseworker at Child Protective Services, the Bradleys’ younger daughter claimed, “her daddy does not push her mommy.” From the mouths of babes.
Douglas Kennedy Acquitted
A Mount Kisco judge ruled that it was a “spontaneous” reaction when Douglas Kennedy kicked a nurse while trying to take his newborn son out of the hospital for some fresh air; therefore he was not guilty of harassment. The nurses involved have filed a $200,000 civil lawsuit.
Bye Bye Rye Town?
Number crunching consultants are researching how much money taxpayers would save if Rye Town were dissolved. In their scenario, Port Chester and Rye Brook would become “town-villages,” and Rye Neck would join in with Mamaroneck and Rye Town would become a fond memory.
