Mamaroneck is home to two of Westchester’s most prominent theaters: the Emelin Theatre (emelin.org) and Westchester Sandbox Theatre (wstshows.com). The Emelin offers frequently changing musical, comedy, and dance performances and screens independent movies. The Sandbox, lauded for its child and teen programs, also hosts a hearty lineup of professional productions.
Internationally recognized, and invitation-only, Winged Foot Golf Club (wfgc.org)—Golfer’s Digest ranked its West Course eighth best in the nation this year—will host the US Open for the sixth time in 2020.
