Lyceum Kennedy French American School: Ardley’s French School That Specializes in Individual Education

Lyceum Kennedy French American School, Ardsley
A private preK-5 school with 80 students and class sizes of 12; tuition is $21,000 to $22,500, depending on the grade.

This school features an immersion program in which students are taught in both French and English. Two things that set the school apart are its nursery program, which teaches French to young students, and that it welcomes non-French speakers past kindergarten, for whom the school uses a unique transition program to help catch up, says Benedicte Brouder, the coordinator of the campus.

The school, which started in 1997, prides itself on offering individualized education, allowing more advanced students to zoom ahead in their studies, while also catering to the specific needs of newer students.
