Sure, in Westchester, our residents have broken a world record or two, but none as whimsical as the goal the Chabad of the Rivertowns is shooting for: to build the world’s largest Lego menorah. This Hanukkah, families will gather to eat doughnuts and latkes, listen to some music—and assemble more than 60,000 colored plastic blocks. Leading the bunch will be Stephen Schwartz, an architect, so at the very least you know the menorah will have structural integrity. If you want in on the record-breaking action, head to the Chabad of the Rivertowns on December 13. For more information, call (914) 693-6100 or visit chabadrt.org.
