Nov 19: World Toilet Day • Conceived in 2001 by the World Toilet Organization, the day is designed to “raise global awareness of the struggle 2.6 billion people face every day without access to proper, clean sanitation.” The day is celebrated in more than 19 countries with dozens of events hosted by local sanitation and clean-water organizations.
