Sweet Idea

Cookies are showing up at weddings all over Westchester. Popular with guests of all ages, they make great favors and can do double duty as edible table cards. Initials and monograms are all the rage, as are miniature wedding cakes, cookies that match the wedding’s colors, and hearts decorated to resemble a gown and tux. Lulu Cake Boutique in Scarsdale made the cookies shown here; they’re available in vanilla or chocolate with royal icing. Magnificent Edibles in White Plains, Susan Gambelli Custom Cakes, and Beascakes Bakery in Armonk make wedding cookies too, as do most local bakers who make wedding cakes.
