Husband-and-wife artists Julie and Starr Hardridge have ample reason to be proud as the proverbial peacock about the captivating custom mural they created for a New Jersey homeowner. Trained in Italy and France, the pair first designed and painted the image on canvas in their studio in Redding, Connecticut, then installed the six-by ten-foot mural on the client’s powder-room wall in a manner similar to that used for wallpaper.
