Even though owners Jeff and Jennifer Cohn were hoping for a soft opening, we’re letting the cat out of the bag: Q Mount Kisco is open for business. This means that all the up-county folks pining for Q’s succulent ribs, down home brisket and luscious pulled pork will no longer have to wend their way down I-684 and through the streets of crowded old Port Chester.

The new upcounty branch in Mount Kisco has all of Q’s must-eat favorites, and for us, that means a gooey, pulled pork sandwich heaped high on a Martin’s Potato Roll with sweet and smoky pork, bread and butter pickles, and Q’s crunchy, house-made cole slaw. To wash it all down, we need Q’s endless Mason jar of sweet tea and – as icing on the cake, as it were—we require a huge wedge of Sunday-picnic-on-a plate layer cake. This is All-American food at its finest, now available sans shlepp.
