Walking Tour of Lasdon Perennial Gardens

Take in a leisurely walk through the perennial gardens of Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial (Rte 35 in Somers) with Lasdon’s horticulturist from 2 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, September 4, while learning about prize perennials that will brighten your fall garden. 27th Annual Labor Day Antiques Fair
Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial in Somers will also host the 27th Labor Day Antiques Fair on Monday, September 5. Take advantage of the chance to browse the authentic vintage treasures of up to 70 dealers on this 234-acre former estate. Featured potential finds include Oriental carpets, Persian rug pillows, country cottage furniture, garden and patio wrought iron furnishings, paintings, 1930s to 1950s kitchen and barware accessories, silver, and shabby chic. Admission to the rain-or-shine event is $7 (children 13 and under are admitted free). Proceeds will benefit the Glass House Conservatory at Lasdon Park.
